Look on the Bright Side...

The final days of summer...

Summer is going to be over in a couple of weeks. Of course, I am most definitely NOT looking forward to it. But there is always a bright side to everything. In this situation, FREE BOOKS!

Which ones?
-Airhead by Meg Cabot (paperback-an extra copy I received last week!)
-The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting (ARC- given by a family friend in the book world; not yet read by me)
-Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac by Gabrielle Zevin (hardcover- bought & read only once)
-The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins (hardcover-bought for friend because I loved it so much, but she wanted a gift card instead...and I lost the receipt *slaps forehead*)

AND!!
-$15 iTunes gift card (everyone needs some music to listen to while writing or reading, right? and the audiobooks on there... :D plus it's something I've had since last year that's just lying around, hehe)

How do I enter? It's simple!

+10 for answering all the following questions: What will you miss most about summer? What are you looking forward to? What's a book you are looking forward to read after and why?

Other ways (please leave as separate comments):
+3 for following me on twitter @sunxxmoon
+5 for being a follower on this blog
+2 for each time you link to this contest (if tweeting, please @sunxxmoon)
+1 for each comment* on reviews I write AFTER this post (please leave a link here)

When will it end?
Well, the last day of summer is September 21st so the end of it will be the 22nd. Hence, this giveaway will end September 22nd!

No, seriously.
Okay, in my mind, summer ends the day I have to return to school. This year, it's August 26th. So the contest will officially end on August 25th at midnight - California time. Winner will be selected by random number generator site and be notified the next day.

[Note: I will also be giving away another ARC on twitter soon and whoever replies to me first will get their hands on it. The ARC is a middle school grade novel just so you know... ]

*crosses fingers and hopes at least two people enter this contest*

Good luck! Oh and if the comments aren't working just keep submitting and it will go through! If not, drop me an e-mail :D

+10 I will miss having days where I have nothing to do. There is nothing like having the ability to lay in bed all day and read just because I want to. I am looking forward to graduating from college in Dec. A book that I am looking forward to is Dreamfever by Karen Marie Moning. I love that series!

+10 I will miss having so much free time. The nice (well not this summer) weather, being able to relax. Boo to school. I guess the good thing with school is that I get to see my friends everyday. It means I'm one step closer to getting older and getting out of high school. The start of school means my birthday. Lots of good books are being released- like Catching Fire! Super excited for that. Also Fire. And all the yummy books coming out soon.

+10 for answering all the questions

The thing I will miss most about summer will be the time I'm able to read. I'm taking two AP classes and the rest all accelerated classes, so I won't have much time to read. I'm looking forward to having something more to do each day, and to seeing my friends that I haven't seen since school let out. Summer has been busy. I would answer this last question with the words "CATCHING FIRE" but I happened to win an ARC through a writing challenge and it was AMAZING. Everyone who it waiting on it, it's better than THE HUNGER GAMES, by far. The last line of the book killed me, though. I'm waiting for someone to talk to about it!!! The book I really want to read right now is THE HOLLOW by Jessica Verday. Her husband, Lee, has done so many promos for the book, and I can't wait for it to be released!

I will miss the flowers outside because they die when it gets cold here.
I look forward to Fall- love the season change with the leaves turning so beautiful.
I am looking forward to reading anything by Deeanne Gist because her books are awesome!

Great giveaway!

+10 I'm definitely going to miss warm, sunny weather. Though I'll be glad for fall to come because it is my favorite season. I'm really looking forward to reading The Heretic's Daughter this year.

This is an awesome giveaway!

+10 I'm really gonna miss the general feeling of summer. Kids out playing and laughing. That sense of freedom and fun. The warm air on my skin. I am, however looking forward to getting to the beautiful changing colors and gentle winds of fall. As for books, I'm most looking forward to reading The Hunger Games and Catching Fire.

+10 for the questions: I hate cold weather. I'd rather be outside with my book, broiling my legs in the sun, than inside with my book by the fire. I am, however, looking forward to Halloween. It's my favorite holiday! And I'm one of the millions looking forward to Catching Fire! I've got to know if they get together!

+10 I will really miss not having to go to school this summer. I'm looking forward to seeing all of my friends again. A book I want to read after is The Body Finder because the plot is very interesting.
